Your boat deserves better than a quick rinse

We come to your boat — marina, jetty, or driveway. One standard, every boat — the Tide Standard. We quote on the work, not a price list.

// The Tide Standard • Off-white band, narrative

One standard. Every boat.

Every boat we detail is brought up to the same standard — the Tide Standard. No good-better-best. No package to choose from. One standard, and we hold every boat to it.

What changes from boat to boat is the work it takes to get there. So we come to you, look the boat over, and quote on what it actually needs — its size, its condition, and the finish you're after. You pay for the work, not a price list.

That standard isn't something we made up. It was learned in Poole, England — home of Sunseeker, one of the world's leading luxury yacht builders, where nothing left the yard until it was correct. It's the same bar we hold your boat to today.

What's a Detail Reset?

A Detail Reset is the first job for any new detailing customer. We come to your boat, carry out a full assessment, and bring it up to the Tide Standard. Wash, cut and polish, wax and buff, glass, basic interior.

For most boats this is the right starting point — it gets the hull and surfaces back to a known baseline, so any ongoing care we do from there is doing real work rather than catching up on neglect.

Once we know your boat, we can build a custom care package around how you actually use it. Optional, never a rigid subscription.

From Poole to Brisbane

The Tide Standard came from Sunseeker, where Ben learned his trade. Every boat inspected three times by separate quality controllers before it shipped. Any flaw, no matter how small, had to be fixed before the boat could leave.

Ben carried that discipline out of Poole, across to Australia, and into Brisbane. Same methodology, applied to every boat Tide touches — whether it's in for a Detail Reset or coming back for ongoing care.
