How hiring works

Four simple steps, no surprises. Here's exactly what to expect when you hire a boat from Tide.

The four steps

1. Choose your boat

Have a look through the fleet and pick the boat that fits your plans. Each boat page has the specs, what's included, pricing, and a clear answer on whether you'll need a boat licence. If you're not sure which boat is right for you, send us a quick message — we'll point you in the right direction.

2. Lock in your dates

Send us an enquiry with your preferred date and a few details. We'll come back to you within 24 hours to confirm availability and walk you through the next steps. There's a deposit to lock in your date — the balance is paid before pickup.

3. Pick up or we deliver

Two options. Self-tow — you collect the boat from its pickup location on its trailer, launch it yourself, and bring it back at the end of the day. Or use our launch and retrieval service: for a small additional fee, we deliver, launch and collect the boat from an agreed ramp.

4. Get on the water

The boat is yours for the day. Fish, cruise, explore. We brief you on operating limits, safe areas, and what to do if anything comes up. Return by the agreed time, refuel the tank, and you're done.
