By making a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Booking requirements

All hirers must be 18 years or older and provide valid photo identification.

Bond / security deposit

A refundable bond is required for all hires. The bond is fully refundable once the boat is returned on time, in the same condition, with all equipment, and with no damage.

Fuel policy

Full-to-full. If you're unable to refuel prior to return, we can refuel and deduct the cost from the bond — no surcharge.

Pick up, delivery & launching

Boats can be hired as either self-tow / self-launch, or launched and collected on your behalf for an additional fee.

Operating area & usage rules

Boats may only be used in approved waterways. Prohibited: commercial use, racing, towing other vessels, dangerous operation, operating outside agreed areas, operating under the influence.

Safety & responsibility

The hirer is responsible for safe operation, following QLD marine laws, ensuring passenger numbers don't exceed capacity, and PFD use.

Damage, breakdowns & incidents

Contact us immediately. All boats are insured; hirer may be liable for damage caused by negligence.

Late returns

Boats must be returned at the agreed time. Late returns may incur additional charges.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Weather: free reschedule. Customer cancellation ≥48hrs free; <48hrs may forfeit deposit. No-shows: no refund.

Cleaning & condition on return

Additional cleaning fees may apply if returned excessively dirty.

Agreement

By proceeding with a booking, the hirer agrees to this policy.
